These events are incredibly diverse, including silly food\\r\\nchallenges, engineering design competitions, a pub crawl, club nights,\\r\\nand much more! Though the format of the week is a competition, the\\r\\nspirit is one of community and friendship across departments.</p>\\r\\n<p></i></p>\\r\\n<p><strong>How does the scoring system work?</strong>\\u2003<br />\\r\\n<i></p>\\r\\n<p>Throughout the week, almost every event on the schedule can win your\\r\\nteam points. The importance of each event is indicated by its \\u201cLevel\\u201d;\\r\\nLevel 1 means the highest possible number of points are at stake, while\\r\\na Level 4 means things are more chill. Each event is further divided\\r\\ninto \\u201cRanked\\u201d and \\u201cTiered\\u201d; Ranked means that each team will obtain a\\r\\nranking of 1-10 (like a race), with the first place team winning the\\r\\nmost number of points in that event. Tiered events mean that each team\\r\\nis placed into one of 3 categories (i.e. best, meh and worst) based on\\r\\nmore subjective qualities\\u2014 such as team spirit and creativeness\\u2014 so\\r\\nmultiple teams can get the same amount of points.</p>\\r\\n<p></i></p>\\r\\n<p><strong>Do I need to come to every event?</strong>\\u2003<br />\\r\\n<i></p>\\r\\n<p>No! E-Week is extremely event-dense, and it would be unreasonable to\\r\\nexpect everyone to attend every single event. It\\u2019s your captains\\u2019 jobs\\r\\nto figure out who will come to each event to participate in the specific\\r\\ngame to win their team points. That way, you\\u2019re not expected to show up\\r\\nto win your team points every single hour of the 5 days!</p>\\r\\n<p></i></p>\\r\\n<p><strong>Is there drinking at E-Week? What if I don't\\r\\ndrink?</strong>\\u2003<br />\\r\\n<i></p>\\r\\n<p>Yes, people consume alcohol at E-Week. However, alcohol is not the\\r\\nfocus of the entire week, and moderation, responsibility, and mutual\\r\\nvigilance are heavily promoted. You are more than welcome to participate\\r\\nin E-Week, whether or not you drink! Non-alcoholic options are available\\r\\nat every single event wherein alcohol is provided.</p>\\r\\n<p></i></p>\\r\\n<p><strong>Are there alternative alcoholic options to beer that are\\r\\noffered?</strong>\\u2003<br />\\r\\n<i></p>\\r\\n<p>Yes! However, these options are available only to those with dietary\\r\\nrestrictions preventing them from drinking beer. If you have any such\\r\\nrestrictions, please let your captains know as soon as possible!</p>\\r\\n<p></i></p>\\r\\n<p><strong>I did Frosh, should I expect the same thing at\\r\\nE-Week?</strong>\\u2003<br />\\r\\n<i></p>\\r\\n<p>Not quite. While Frosh is an introduction for new students to McGill\\r\\nand the EUS, E-Week participants can be first years, third years, or\\r\\nalum! While Frosh serves as a guide for new students, E-Week focuses\\r\\nmore on the competition and friendly rivalry aspects of the engineering\\r\\ncommunity.</p>\\r\\n<p></i></p>\\r\\n<p><strong>Who are Captains?</strong>\\u2003<br />\\r\\n<i></p>\\r\\n<p>Your team captains are the 6-10 people in charge of your team.\\r\\nCaptains organize participants for games, communicate with Coordinators,\\r\\nand lead their team spirit! Equity and Sustainability captains are\\r\\nspecifically tasked with making sure everyone feels as included and safe\\r\\nas possible throughout the week. They have also been given additional\\r\\ntraining on active bystanding, receiving disclosures, and available\\r\\nresources. Points captains rally their teams to win the maximum number\\r\\nof points throughout the week. Assistant captains help their co-captains\\r\\nwhere needed and are there for you if you have any questions! All\\r\\ncaptains have received basic training on active-bystanding,\\r\\naccessibility, safe practices, and inclusivity.</p>\\r\\n<p></i></p>\\r\\n<p><strong>E-Week happens during classes. What should I\\r\\ndo?</strong>\\u2003<br />\\r\\n<i></p>\\r\\n<p>Though E-Week spans the first week of classes, we don\\u2019t expect anyone\\r\\nto put fun ahead of academics. Some participants never miss an event,\\r\\nwhile others only come to a few. It\\u2019s a good idea to sketch a plan of\\r\\nwhat events/classes you\\u2019ll attend during the week, so you can enjoy\\r\\nE-Week as much as possible while still making the \\u2018rents proud.</p>\\r\\n<p></i></p>\\r\\n<p><strong>Can I sell my ticket to someone?</strong>\\u2003<br />\\r\\n</p>\\r\\n<p><i> Yeppers! Please be aware that all tickets have a type, whether it\\r\\nbe non-drinking, full week, or day events only. Make sure the person to\\r\\nwhom you\\u2019ve sold your ticket has filled out the registration form, and\\r\\nthen notify your captains of the transfer </i>immediately.<i> <b> You\\r\\nmust also message McGill E-Week or any coord on facebook and inform them\\r\\nof the transfer that\\u2019s been made. </b> It is your responsibility to sell\\r\\nyour ticket, and we don\\u2019t give refunds for purchased tickets. </i></p>\\r\\n<p><strong>Can I change the department my ticket is registered\\r\\nfor?</strong>\\u2003<br />\\r\\n</p>\\r\\n<p><i> This is up to the coords' discretion, as it varies based on the\\r\\nregistration and logistical timeline. Day-event-only tickets get you access to every day event of\\r\\nE-Week, and the process for buying them from someone else is the same as\\r\\nwith regular tickets. These tickets include every event except for the\\r\\nlast event of each day. This means you get access to 3 Man and Pub Crawl\\r\\nas well.</p>\\r\\n<p></i></p>\\r\\n<p><strong>Can I participate in E-Week if I don't go to\\r\\nMcGill?</strong>\\u2003<br />\\r\\n<i></p>\\r\\n<p>Of course! E-Week is open to everyone, as long as they are 18+. Just\\r\\nput N/A where the registration form asks for a McGill email.</p>\\r\\n<p></i></p>\\r\\n<p><strong>Can I pay for just night events?</strong>\\u2003<br />\\r\\n<i></p>\\r\\n<p>Night-event-only tickets are released at the beginning of January\\r\\nthrough the facebook page. They work slightly differently than\\r\\nday-event-only tickets, in that they are specific to each night event\\r\\n(so an Opening Ceremonies ticket won\\u2019t get you into Century Club).</p>\\r\\n<p></i></p>\\r\\n<p><strong>I have alternate mobility needs.
