- "body": "[{\"type\": \"paragraph\", \"value\": \"<p><strong>Three King's Men Die</strong> is a (hopefully) legendary dice\\r\\ngame within the <a href=\\\"EUS\\\" class=\\\"wikilink\\\" title=\\\"EUS\\\">EUS</a> that\\r\\nwas introduced to the wider EUS community by the 2022-23 EUS executives.\\r\\nIt is a simple game, where the more people who play, the more fun to be\\r\\nhad.</p>\\r\\n<h2 id=\\\"equipment\\\">Equipment</h2>\\r\\n<p>In order to play Three King's Men Die, very little is required; a\\r\\ntable, two dice, a hat or otherwise distinctive piece of clothing\\r\\n(optional), and a beverage.</p>\\r\\n<h2 id=\\\"set_up\\\">Set Up</h2>\\r\\n<ol>\\r\\n<li>Have everyone who is playing sit around the table.</li>\\r\\n<li>Have the person who wishes to be Three Man (or wingman or king's\\r\\nman, the name does not matter) don the distinctive item. If no one is\\r\\ninterested in being the Three Man, the provider of the dice shall decide\\r\\nwho it is. Alternatively, you can do a roll-off and whoever rolls the\\r\\nlowest is the Three Man.</li>\\r\\n<li>The person to the left of the Three Man will be given the dice.</li>\\r\\n</ol>\\r\\n<h2 id=\\\"scoring\\\">Scoring</h2>\\r\\n<p>The scoring of the game (if you wish to call it that) is relatively\\r\\nsimple, although a bit tricky to remember at first. There are six\\r\\nscenarios where one or more person will drink.</p>\\r\\n<ol>\\r\\n<li>If a three is rolled, either on the face of the die or in summation\\r\\n(so a 1 and a 2 is rolled) the Three Man will drink <strong>one</strong>\\r\\nsip. If there are double threes, the Three Man will take\\r\\n<strong>two</strong> sips.</li>\\r\\n<li>If a nine is rolled, the person to the <strong>right</strong> of the\\r\\ndice roller will drink <strong>one</strong> sip.</li>\\r\\n<li>If a ten is rolled, the person who rolled the dice will drink\\r\\n<strong>one</strong> sip.</li>\\r\\n<li>If an elven is rolled, the person to the <strong>left</strong> of\\r\\nthe dice roller will drink <strong>one</strong> sip.</li>\\r\\n<li>If doubles are rolled, the dice roller will give out the number of\\r\\nsips of the double. So if <strong>double fours</strong> are rolled, the\\r\\ndice roller can give out <strong>four</strong> sips. These sips can be\\r\\ngiven out however the roller decides, be it all to one person, or\\r\\nsplitting them up among multiple players.</li>\\r\\n<li>Lastly, if a <strong>seven</strong> is rolled,\\r\\n<strong>everyone</strong> must put their thumb on the edge of the table\\r\\nas quickly as possible, the last person to do so will take\\r\\n<strong>one</strong> sip.</li>\\r\\n</ol>\\r\\n<p>Multiple people can take sips one the same roll for different things.\\r\\nFor example, if double fives are rolled, the roller must take a sip\\r\\nbecause it adds up to ten, as well as the roller giving out five sips to\\r\\nwhomever they choose.</p>\\r\\n<h2 id=\\\"sequence_of_play\\\">Sequence of Play</h2>\\r\\n<p>The person to the left of the Three Man will start by rolling the\\r\\ndice, if any of the above mentioned criteria are met, the respective\\r\\nperson will drink. The roller will continue to roll until either no one\\r\\ntakes a sip or they throw one or more of the dice off the table (more on\\r\\nthis later). If no one drinks, the dice are passed to the person to the\\r\\nleft. When the dice get to the Three Man, the same sequence of play is\\r\\nmaintained, <strong>unless the Three Man rolls a three</strong>. If the\\r\\nThree Man rolls a three (either on the face or in summation), they\\r\\ndecide a new Three Man and give them the distinctive item. The dice are\\r\\nthen given to the person to the left of the <strong>new</strong> Three\\r\\nMan and play continues as normal. Therefore, if the Three Man does not\\r\\nroll a three, but someone drinks they continue rolling until no one\\r\\ndrinks or they roll a three. If the Three Man rolls and no one drinks,\\r\\nthe dice are passed to the person to the left and the Three Man remains\\r\\nin that role for another round. If someone throws one or both dices off\\r\\nthe table they automatically become the Three Man and the dice are\\r\\npassed to the person to their left and play resumes as normal. If the\\r\\ncurrent Three Man rolls the dice off the table, they will remain the\\r\\nThree Man, even if they roll a three or someone else throws the dice off\\r\\nthe table in the next round. Note this only applies to the next round or\\r\\none person throwing the dice off the table. If multiple people roll the\\r\\ndice off the table in the same round, the second person to do so will\\r\\nbecome the Three Man.</p>\\r\\n<h2 id=\\\"additional_criteria\\\">Additional Criteria</h2>\\r\\n<ul>\\r\\n<li>This game is normally played with Buffalo in effect. Make sure to\\r\\nestablish your Buffalo rules before the start of play and inform every\\r\\nnewcomer of the rules.</li>\\r\\n<li>If you have a significant amount of players you can introduce\\r\\nanother Three Man, it's the same role, there's just two now. However,\\r\\nwhenever one of the Three Man changes, they have the right to choose the\\r\\nother Three Man. The dice will still go to the left of the Three Man who\\r\\nwas selected first, unless the second Three Man is directly to their\\r\\nleft, then the dice will go to the next person to the left.</li>\\r\\n<li>As this game has no end, people are allowed to come and go as they\\r\\nplease.</li>\\r\\n<li>You will go through a fair amount of drinks with this game, so make\\r\\nsure you know what you are getting yourself into and that you have\\r\\nenough beverages.</li>\\r\\n<li>You are not allowed to leave your thumb on the table, if you do so,\\r\\nyou will take one sip for every time someone calls you out on it.</li>\\r\\n</ul>\\r\\n<h2 id=\\\"fun_facts\\\">Fun Facts</h2>\\r\\n<ul>\\r\\n<li>This game was first played (to my knowledge) within the EUS\\r\\ncommunity on Tuesday, July 25th, 2022. The game was played by Michael\\r\\nParsons, Benoit Bolduc, Yassi Bassiri, Luis Sanchez, Shua Kalmanson, Efe\\r\\nGrant-Oyeye, Zaina Khan, and Aidan O'Heany.</li>\\r\\n<li>The number 7 is known as Yassi's number as she was notoriously slow\\r\\nat putting her thumb on the table.</li>\\r\\n<li>This name of the game comes from the fact that it draws elements\\r\\nfrom Three Man and King's Cup.</li>\\r\\n</ul>\\r\\n\", \"id\": \"a7e85b5a-6024-497b-b0ff-293d553d3834\"}]",
