It\\u2019s kind of like a giant Dropbox folder that anyone in the EUS\\r\\ncan access at any time, from anywhere. The Repository contains all of\\r\\nthe documents that the EUS execs, clubs, committees, and departments use\\r\\nand share. Certain folders are restricted or even hidden based on which\\r\\ngroups a user is in. For example, a Frosh Coord can see and edit\\r\\neverything in the Frosh folder, but can\\u2019t see anything in the OAP\\r\\nFolder. You are on the McGill Network if:\\r\\n<ol>\\r\\n<li>You are on McGill Wifi</li>\\r\\n<li>You are plugged in to a LAN jack at McGill; or</li>\\r\\n<li>You are on the <a href=\\\"http://kb.mcgill.ca/it/vpn\\\">McGill\\r\\nVPN</a></li>\\r\\n</ol></li>\\r\\n</ol>\\r\\n<h3 id=\\\"windows\\\">Windows</h3>\\r\\n<p><strong>To access the repository on Windows machine, perform the\\r\\nfollowing steps:</strong></p>\\r\\n<ol>\\r\\n<li>Open My Computer</li>\\r\\n<li>On the toolbar at the top of the window, click \\u201cMap Network\\r\\nDrive\\u201d</li>\\r\\n<li>Pick a letter for the drive, and in the \\u201cFolder\\u201d field enter\\r\\n\\\\\\\\zubat.infosys.mcgilleus.ca\\\\repository. Make sure that \\\"Reconnect at\\r\\nlogon\\\" and \\\"Connect using different credentials\\\" are both selected</li>\\r\\n<li>Hit OK. When prompted, enter your Infosys account username and\\r\\npassword</li>\\r\\n</ol>\\r\\n<h3 id=\\\"macintosh\\\">Macintosh</h3>\\r\\n<p><strong>To access the repository on a Mac, perform the following\\r\\nsteps:</strong></p>\\r\\n<ol>\\r\\n<li>Open a Finder window</li>\\r\\n<li>On the menu bar, select Go&gt;Connect to a Server (Or type the key\\r\\ncombination cmd+shift+k)</li>\\r\\n<li>In the box, type <a\\r\\nhref=\\\"smb://zubat.infosys.mcgilleus.ca/Repository\\\">smb://zubat.infosys.mcgilleus.ca/Repository</a>,\\r\\nthen click OK.</li>\\r\\n<li>When prompted, enter your Infosys account information</li>\\r\\n</ol>\\r\\n<h2 id=\\\"best_practices\\\">Best practices</h2>\\r\\n<ul>\\r\\n<li><strong>Whenever</strong> important documents are created, store\\r\\nthem on the Repository</li>\\r\\n<li>Use a folder structure that makes sense. Do not just dump files into\\r\\nyour club or committee's folder without sorting them.</li>\\r\\n<li><strong>Always put exit reports on the Repository</strong></li>\\r\\n<li>Delete duplicate photos before storing them. Do not store both the\\r\\n.raw and the .jpeg of every single photo</li>\\r\\n<li>Delete unnecessary videos before uploading media to the\\r\\nrepository</li>\\r\\n<li>Do not delete data that you are not in charge of</li>\\r\\n<li>Make sure to use a meaningful naming system for your documents.\\r\\nImagine someone 10 years from now trying to salvage your data</li>\\r\\n</ul>\\r\\n<h2 id=\\\"rip_appletini\\\">RIP Appletini</h2>\\r\\n<p>There once was a server named appletini who housed the EUS\\r\\nrepository. When Appletini was phased out, not all of the information\\r\\nwas carried over, as some of it was outdated or irrelevant. However\\r\\nappletini is still hanging around in the server room, so if you happen\\r\\nto believe there may be pertinent information to dig through, contact\\r\\nthe <a href=\\\"IT_Director\\\" class=\\\"wikilink\\\" title=\\\"IT Director\\\">IT\\r\\nDirector</a> about gaining access.</p>\\r\\n\"}]",
