Meeting every other week\\r during the academic year, its responsibilities include holding the <a href=\\\"Executive_Committee\\\">Executive Committee</a> accountable, enact\\r initiatives to improve student's experience, and defining policies and\\r resolutions to enact further change. The EUS Council is primarily\\r outlined in <a href=\\\"EUS_Constitution#SECTION_II:_THE_COUNCIL\\\">Title II Section II\\r of the EUS Constitution</a>.</p>\\r <h2 id=\\\"powers_duties\\\">Powers &amp; Duties</h2>\\r <p>The powers and duties of council, as outlined in <a href=\\\"Constitution#TITLE_III:_The_EUS_Council\\\">Title III</a> of the constitution, are as follows:</p>\\r <ul>\\r <li>Act as the advisory body of the EUS, which represents the opinions\\r and values of its Regular Members;</li>\\r <li>Hold the Executive Committee, SSMU Representative(s), Engineering\\r Senator(s), and the Board of Governors accountable to their duties;</li>\\r <li>Ratify positions-holders, including but not limited to: Associate\\r Members, conference delegates, and financial committee members.</li>\\r </ul>\\r <h2 id=\\\"meetings\\\">Meetings</h2>\\r <p>The EUS Council <em>must</em> meet at least once every four weeks\\r during the academic year, but tends to meet every two weeks. Anyone is\\r permitted to attend, excluding the event of a confidential session,\\r which can be called by a 2/3 majority vote. Quorum for Council shall be\\r 50% of it's membership, 29 people.</p>\\r <h2 id=\\\"membership\\\">Membership</h2>\\r <p>The EUS Council is made up of </p>\\r <ul>\\r <li>The <a href=\\\"Executives\\\">EUS\\r Executives</a></li>\\r <li>U1-U4 Representatives of each <a href=\\\"Departmental_Societies\\\">Department</a></li>\\r <li>The President of each <a href=\\\"Departmental_Societies\\\">Department</a></li>\\r <li>The Design Team Representative</li>\\r <li>The Clubs Representative</li>\\r <li>The U0 Representative from <a href=\\\"Junior_Council\\\">Junior Council</a></li>\\r <li>The <a href=\\\"Senator\\\">Engineering Senator</a></li>\\r <li>The <a href=\\\"SSMU_Representatives\\\">SSMU Representatives</a></li>\\r <li>The <a href=\\\"Speaker\\\">EUS\\r Speaker</a> (non-voting)</li>\\r </ul>\\r <p>This is a total of 58 voting members; as such, quorum shall be\\r 29.</p>\\r <p><a href=\\\" title=\\\"</a></p>\"}]",
