There are the regular members of the society, who are\\r\\nundergraduates enrolled in the faculty of engineering, and there there\\r\\nare associated members who are invited into the EUS in order to fulfill\\r\\na role.<br />\\r\\n<strong><em>All Members shall uphold the <a href=\\\"Constitution\\\"\\r\\nclass=\\\"wikilink\\\" title=\\\"EUS\\u2019 constitution\\\">EUS\\u2019 constitution</a>, <a\\r\\nhref=\\\"bylaws\\\" class=\\\"wikilink\\\" title=\\\"bylaws\\\">bylaws</a>, and <a\\r\\nhref=\\\"policies\\\" class=\\\"wikilink\\\"\\r\\ntitle=\\\"policies\\\">policies</a>.</em></strong></p>\\r\\n<h2 id=\\\"regular_members\\\">Regular Members</h2>\\r\\n<p>The <strong><em>Regular Members of the EUS</em></strong> shall be all\\r\\nstudents currently registered at McGill University in an undergraduate\\r\\nprogram of the Faculty of Engineering.<br />\\r\\nRegular members of the EUS are obligated to pay the Society Fee.</p>\\r\\n<h3 id=\\\"rights\\\">Rights</h3>\\r\\n<p>Regular Members shall have the right to:</p>\\r\\n<ul>\\r\\n<li>Engage in written or spoken communication and debate in English and\\r\\nFrench throughout the EUS;</li>\\r\\n<li>Attend <a href=\\\"General_Assembly\\\" class=\\\"wikilink\\\"\\r\\ntitle=\\\"General Assemblies\\\">General Assemblies</a>;</li>\\r\\n<li>Speak for or against any motion at any General Assembly;</li>\\r\\n<li>Initiate <a href=\\\"referenda\\\" class=\\\"wikilink\\\"\\r\\ntitle=\\\"referenda\\\">referenda</a> or <a href=\\\"General_Assembly\\\"\\r\\nclass=\\\"wikilink\\\" title=\\\"General Assemblies\\\">General Assemblies</a>;</li>\\r\\n<li>Submit questions to referenda;</li>\\r\\n<li>Move or second motions at General Assemblies;</li>\\r\\n<li>Nominate candidates for EUS Elections;</li>\\r\\n<li>Vote in EUS <a href=\\\"Elections\\\" class=\\\"wikilink\\\"\\r\\ntitle=\\\"Elections\\\">Elections</a>, Referenda, and General Assemblies;</li>\\r\\n<li>Run for office within the EUS.</li>\\r\\n</ul>\\r\\n<h2 id=\\\"associated_members\\\">Associated Members</h2>\\r\\n<p>The title of <a href=\\\"Constitution#Article_3:_Membership\\\"\\r\\nclass=\\\"wikilink\\\" title=\\\"Associate Member\\\">Associate Member</a> of the\\r\\nEUS shall be granted to a <strong>non-Regular Member</strong> of the EUS\\r\\nselected for an EUS position, subject to ratification by the <a\\r\\nhref=\\\"EUS_Council\\\" class=\\\"wikilink\\\" title=\\\"EUS Council\\\">EUS\\r\\nCouncil</a>.</p>\\r\\n<ul>\\r\\n<li>An Associate Membership shall last for the duration of the\\r\\nposition(s) held by the Associate Member.</li>\\r\\n<li>An Associate Member shall lose their title if they resign or are\\r\\nremoved from their position.</li>\\r\\n</ul>\\r\\n<h2 id=\\\"privileges\\\">Privileges</h2>\\r\\n<p>Both <em>regular</em> and <em>associate</em> members have privileges.\\r\\nPrivileges are subject to removal by vote of the <a\\r\\nhref=\\\"Board_of_Governors\\\" class=\\\"wikilink\\\"\\r\\ntitle=\\\"Board of Governors\\\">Board of Governors</a> or <a\\r\\nhref=\\\"Involvement_Restriction\\\" class=\\\"wikilink\\\"\\r\\ntitle=\\\"Involvement Restriction\\\">Involvement Restriction</a>.<br />\\r\\nPrivileges include:</p>\\r\\n<ul>\\r\\n<li>Hold a Chief Position;</li>\\r\\n<li>Be a member of any <a href=\\\"EUS_Group\\\" class=\\\"wikilink\\\"\\r\\ntitle=\\\"EUS Group\\\">EUS Group</a>;</li>\\r\\n<li>Attend <a href=\\\"EUS_Council\\\" class=\\\"wikilink\\\"\\r\\ntitle=\\\"EUS Council\\\">EUS Council</a> meetings and meetings of the <a\\r\\nhref=\\\"Board_of_Governors\\\" class=\\\"wikilink\\\"\\r\\ntitle=\\\"Board of Governors\\\">Board of Governors</a>;</li>\\r\\n<li>Speak for or against any motion at any EUS Council meeting.</li>\\r\\n</ul>\\r\\n\", \"id\": \"81051ce9-f3a9-4400-9ac2-40403ee379c2\"}]",
