- "body": "[{\"id\": \"54ee3ecf-7a96-4a9c-b291-cca33f8b59ca\", \"type\": \"paragraph\", \"value\": \"<p>The <strong><em>General Store</em></strong>, better known as the\\r G-Store (<em>Le G-Store</em> in French<em>)</em> or G-Spot, is the\\r foremost storefront for students and staff on McGill's downtown\\r campus.</p>\\r <h2 id=\\\"products\\\">Products</h2>\\r <p>The G-Store offers a variety of daily-use products such as snacks,\\r beverages, and stationery. Products are sold at zero to low profit, so\\r customers can expect highly competitive prices.</p>\\r <h3 id=\\\"coffee_tea_and_pastries\\\">Coffee, Tea, and Pastries</h3>\\r <p>Coffee is brewed fresh throughout the day based on demand. For\\r customers that bring their own mug or thermos, the price is $0.75 per\\r fill-up. If a customer does not have their own container, they can buy a\\r small coffee for $1 or a large coffee for $1.50. Additionally, customers\\r can purchase tea. The G-Store has tea bags and hot water conveniently\\r located next to the coffee pots. For customers that bring their own mug,\\r the price is $0.50 per fill-up. If a customer does not have their own\\r container, they can select any cup size for $1. Customers can also buy\\r pastries to either complement their hot beverage or as a standalone\\r treat. Pastries currently offered include plain croissants, chocolate\\r croissants, almond croissants, danishes, apple turnovers, brownies, and\\r cookies.</p>\\r <h3 id=\\\"sandwiches\\\">Sandwiches</h3>\\r <p>There are fresh sandwiches brought daily from <a\\r href=\\\"https://goo.gl/maps/n3WBDVwnpcefFwEJA\\\">O'Four</a> and sold at the\\r G-Store. The options are The Famous Chicken, Spicy Soujok and Green\\r Falafel. As of Nov 2022, the sandwiches each cost 6$. This is a great\\r option if you need a meal to get you through the day that is tasty and\\r nutritious.</p>\\r <h3 id=\\\"candy\\\">Candy</h3>\\r <p>In addition to packaged candy and chocolate, the G-Store offers\\r self-serve loose candy. Options range from a variety of gummy candy to\\r coconut-infused chocolate. Candy costs $1.60 per 100 grams. Customers\\r can receive a 10% discount on their candy purchase every Friday as\\r well.</p>\\r <h3 id=\\\"drinks\\\">Drinks</h3>\\r <p>The G-Store has a fridge stocked with soda, Mate Libre, juices,\\r kombucha, coconut water, milk, and much more!</p>\\r <h3 id=\\\"stationery\\\">Stationery</h3>\\r <p>The store is stocked with faculty-standard calculators (including the\\r ones required for FACC 300), flash drives, pens, pencils, highlighters,\\r glue, tape, rulers, staplers, geometry sets, and other education\\r essentials. It is best to stop by the store to get a good idea of\\r pricing since pricing varies per item.</p>\\r <h3 id=\\\"patches_and_clothing\\\">Patches and Clothing</h3>\\r <p>Departments, clubs, and committees are able to sell patches through\\r the G-Store. Pricing varies based on the patch being sold. Please\\r contact a manager to arrange patch sales for your organization.</p>\\r <p>While clothing sales are not happening at this time, customers can\\r still purchase scarves, t-shirts, and Frosh hats. Scarves cost $15,\\r t-shirts range from $10-$20, and Frosh hats cost $10-$15.</p>\\r <p>The G-Store will soon be carrying the McGill Engineering Jean Jackets\\r for in-person sales.</p>\\r <h3 id=\\\"stamps\\\">Stamps</h3>\\r <p>The G-Store sells Canadian, US, and international stamps. Prices\\r match those of the post office.</p>\\r <h2 id=\\\"services\\\">Services</h2>\\r <p>The G-Store offers a variety of benefits to other organizations in\\r the EUS, such as ticket sales, point of sale for merchandise, coffee\\r after hours for meetings, and more.</p>\\r <h3 id=\\\"ticket_sales\\\">Ticket Sales</h3>\\r <p>EUS clubs and committees are able to sell tickets and/or offer\\r sign-ups for their respective events at the G-Store. A club/committee\\r must fill out an application form with all the pertinent information.\\r The G-Store collects and tracks the money paid by patrons who sign up\\r for an event. Once the sales period is over, the club/committee receives\\r the money and sign-up sheet. Clubs/committees are allowed to accept\\r payment by cash or card. Sales completed by card have a nominal fee\\r associated with them.</p>\\r <h3 id=\\\"card_reader\\\">Card Reader</h3>\\r <p>As of 2016, the G-Store also accepts debit cards, Visa, and Master\\r Card on purchases over $5.00.</p>\\r <h2 id=\\\"employment\\\">Employment</h2>\\r <p>The G-Store sends out information on open positions through the EUS\\r Pipeline. Information regarding open positions is usually sent out\\r toward the start or end of each semester.
