It is an open air pub, music\\r\\nfestival and barbeque. The event takes place for two weeks at the\\r\\nbeginning of the Fall semester and for two days in April.</p>\\r\\n<h2 id=\\\"profits\\\">Profits</h2>\\r\\n<p>The profits from OAP in the fall go to the operations of the EUS. The\\r\\nprofits from OAP Lite are donated to the President's Choice Childrens'\\r\\nCharity. In the past, OAP Lite profits have been donated to other\\r\\ncharities, but the current partnership with Provigo gives us up to\\r\\n$25,000 of sponsored food in exchange for our donation of OAP Lite\\r\\nprofits.</p>\\r\\n<h2 id=\\\"organization_and_planning\\\">Organization and Planning</h2>\\r\\n<p>OAP is organized by a group of 10-15 EUS members. Usually, they are\\r\\nengineering students, but this is not required. The students who\\r\\norganize OAP are called OAP Managers. The OAP managers for the following\\r\\nyear are selected by the current managers. Once you are selected to be\\r\\nan OAP manager, it is customary for you to hold that position until you\\r\\ngraduate.</p>\\r\\n<p>The majority of the planning of Fall OAP happens during the summer,\\r\\nwhile the planning of April OAP (Called <strong>'OAP Lite</strong>')\\r\\nhappens throughout the school year.</p>\\r\\n<h3 id=\\\"scheduling\\\">Scheduling</h3>\\r\\n<p>OAP in the fall takes place the week before Labour day (Monday\\r\\nthrough Friday) and the week of Labour day (Tuesday through Friday). It\\r\\ntypically is not open on weekends or on Labour day because of the high\\r\\ncost of hiring McGill security on overtime.</p>\\r\\n<h2 id=\\\"history\\\">History</h2>\\r\\n<h3 id=\\\"homecoming_2015\\\">Homecoming 2015</h3>\\r\\n<p><img src=\\\"OAP97.png\\\" title=\\\"OAP97.png\\\" width=\\\"300\\\" alt=\\\"OAP97.png\\\" />\\r\\nOAP paired up with McGill Athletic's during homecoming for 2015 &\\r\\n2016 (almost 2017). The annual homecoming game featured live music, open\\r\\nBBQ grills run by student volunteers, and OAPrices. It ceased in 2017\\r\\ndue to beer price requirements at Molson Stadium</p>\\r\\n<h3 id=\\\"snow_ap\\\">Snow AP</h3>\\r\\n<p>From 2000-2009, the OAP Committee ran Snow AP, a winter rendition of\\r\\nthe event.
