Prior to that, the club existed as the McGame Jam\\r\\nCommittee. The McGame Jam remains the club's main event, open to anyone\\r\\ninterested in game development.</p>\\r\\n<p>The organizer of the 2017 game jam was inspired by the popularity of\\r\\nthe event as well as the thriving game development community within\\r\\nMontr\\u00e9al to create a club within McGill dedicated to Game Development.\\r\\nThe club's existence has also been greatly helped by Conjure, the game\\r\\ndevelopment club of <em>\\u00c9cole de Technologies Sup\\u00e9rieure (\\u00c9TS)</em>, as\\r\\nwell as <em>Ubisoft</em>.</p>\\r\\n<p>Since its creation, the club consists of approximately 80 members.\\r\\nThe executive committee has grown from 7 to 11 members in 2022.</p>\\r\\n<h2 id=\\\"exec_team\\\">Exec Team</h2>\\r\\n<p>The executive team for the 2022/2023 school year is:</p>\\r\\n<ul>\\r\\n<li>Denis Racicot Morales - Co-President</li>\\r\\n<li>O. Unlike design teams, we do not\\r\\nall work on one project, but instead encourage members to team up\\r\\ntogether and work on individual games. Every month, a new theme is\\r\\ngiven, and the projects are showcased at the monthly Game Dev Socials as\\r\\nwell as posted on the club's <a\\r\\nhref=\\\"https://gamedevmcgill.itch.io/\\\">itch.io page</a>.</p>\\r\\n<h3 id=\\\"mcgame_jam\\\">McGame Jam</h3>\\r\\n<p>This is the club's most popular event.
