The funding is allocated by the <a href=\\\"CFC\\\">Clubs Funding\\r Committee</a> (generally referred to as CFC) on the basis of funding\\r requests or proposals from clubs. Funding allocation is determined\\r according to the <a href=\\\"Clubs_Fund_Bylaws\\\">Clubs Fund Bylaws</a>.</p>\\r <p>All clubs are eligible to make a funding request to the CFC, but\\r applying for or receiving EUS funding is not necessary to maintain club\\r status.</p>\\r <h2 id=\\\"allocation\\\">Allocation</h2>\\r <p>The Clubs Fund Committee is composed of the <a href=\\\"President\\\">EUS President</a>, <a href=\\\"VP_Finance\\\">VP Finance</a>,\\r and <a href=\\\"VP_Student_Life\\\">VP Student Life</a>, as well as the <a href=\\\"Clubs_Representative\\\">Clubs Representative</a> and 3 general <a href=\\\"EUS_Council\\\">EUS Council</a>\\r members who are not affiliated to a club.</p>\\r <h3 id=\\\"guidelines\\\">Guidelines</h3>\\r <p>Although there are no strict policies outlining how the Clubs Fund is\\r allocated, their is a set of guidelines that indicate best practices and\\r expectations when applying for funding. These are outlined below, but\\r more detail can be found in the <a\\r href=\\\"https://docs.google.com/document/d/1OlzMf0alce9SC_C9ek4iwhj93HAhH6r2_pTmiPa7wn4/edit?usp=sharing\\\">Clubs\\r Fund Guidelines Document</a>.</p>\\r <p><em>Funding For Long Projects</em></p>\\r <p>:*Applying for funding for projects spanning many years is generally\\r discouraged, it is best to apply for these funds on a year-by-year basis\\r as you make purchases relevant to the project</p>\\r <p>:*If you do plan on applying for funding for a long project, consider\\r providing a detailed plan outlining what you will do to ensure the\\r project is seen to completion</p>\\r <p><em>Additional Funding</em></p>\\r <p>:*For Clubs with large budgets it is encouraged to apply for funding\\r from additional <a href=\\\"Funding_Sources\\\">sources</a>, such as MESC or SSMU</p>\\r <p><em>Budget Format</em></p>\\r <p>:*Having a clean, comprehensive budget, made using the EUS template,\\r is key to ensuring your funding request is approved</p>\\r <p><em>Merch Funding</em></p>\\r <p>:*Funds for club merch/swag for members are typically not\\r approved</p>\\r <p>:*Exceptions for the above include when the apparel is integral to\\r your Club's operation or it is your Club's only expense to encourage\\r involvement</p>\\r <p>Remember, the above are only guidelines, and actual funding\\r allocations may deviate year-to-year!</p>\\r <div style=\\\"clear:both;\\\">\\r </div>\\r <p><a href=\\\" title=\\\" Groups</a> </p>\"}]",
