It houses the <a href=\\\"EUS_Office\\\">EUS Office</a>, <a href=\\\"Copi-EUS\\\">CopiEUS</a>, the <a href=\\\"General_Store\\\">G-Store</a>, <a href=\\\"Frostbite\\\">Frostbite</a> and the <a href=\\\"Common_Room\\\">Common Room</a>.\\r It is located on university street and was built in 1959</p>\\r <h2 id=\\\"eus_mall\\\"><a href=\\\"EUS_Mall\\\">EUS Mall</a></h2>\\r <p>In 1998, the EUS office was relocated from its original location ,\\r McDonald 278, to it's current one, McConnell Room 7. The McConnell\\r building then became the new home for all EUS activities. The northeast\\r corner of the first floor was turned into a commercial area for all the\\r <a href=\\\"Services\\\">EUS\\r Services</a>. This area, now coined the <em>EUS Mall</em>, has become\\r the centrepiece for all things EUS.</p>\\r <h2 id=\\\"history\\\">History</h2>\\r <p>The McConnell Engineering Building was donated to McGill in 1959 by\\r John W. McConnell, a major benefactor of the University since 1911 and\\r one of its Governors from 1928 until 1958. In the period after World War\\r II when all of the Engineering Faculties were greatly expanding, this\\r nine-storey structure doubled the number of classrooms, lecture rooms,\\r and offices available for use by the above faculties. McConnell\\r Engineering, located on the southwest corner of Milton and University,\\r provides a connection between the F. D. Adams Building to the south, and\\r the Workman Wing of the Macdonald Engineering Building to the west.\\r Along with Macdonald Chemistry and Macdonald Physics (now the\\r Macdonald-Harrington Building and Macdonald-Stewart Library Building,\\r respectively), McConnell Engineering creates a complete, joined circuit\\r of buildings for Engineering and its Schools.</p>\\r <h3 id=\\\"architecture\\\">Architecture</h3>\\r <p>As is typical of Fleming and Smith's other campus projects, such as\\r the F. D. Adams and the Otto Maass Chemistry Buildings, the McConnell\\r Engineering Building features a modern use of concrete faced with stone,\\r interrupted regularly by bands of windows. It is a very functional\\r structure containing many labs and offices on all its floors and two\\r large lecture theatres, one spanning the first and second floors, the\\r other placed above it on the second and third floors. Generally, the\\r more specialized facilities are located on higher floors, while the most\\r frequently used labs and classrooms are on the lower floors. This keeps\\r traffic between classes to a minimum and reduces the amount of crowding\\r on the building's six elevators. Aside from the Chemical and Electrical\\r Engineering Faculties, the School of Computer Science is also located in\\r this building.The only ornament of the McConnell Engineering is a series\\r of three carvings on the east, facing University Street. Each contains\\r the symbols of different fields of Engineering and creates a break in\\r the pattern of windows.</p>\\r <p><a href=\\\" title=\\\"</a></p>\"}]",
