Once the season starts, the schedule will be posted here with scores for all teams. The schedule will be updated once a week, on Mondays. Once the season is over, the winning team will be posted here.</p><h2 data-block-key=\\\"1qh57\\\">Schedule</h2><p data-block-key=\\\"82kfg\\\">The first game will take place on <b>January 18th, 2026</b>. Games will be scheduled anytime between 5:00pm and 10:00pm on Sundays. The last game of the regular season will take place on <b>February 22nd</b>.</p><p data-block-key=\\\"c1eja\\\">In the event of unforseable events outside of the control of EUS Sports, the game(s) will be cancelled. All cancelled games will be rescheduled to March 1st. No games have been scheduled on Match 8th due to the reading break. Playoffs are scheduled to take place on <b>March 15th</b>, and, if necesssary, on <b>March 22nd</b>.</p><p data-block-key=\\\"3co7f\\\">Teams can expect to play once a week, for a total of 6 games during the regular season. Teams should consult this page regularily as the schedule will be posted here. <i>EUS Sports reseves the right to change the schedule without prior notice, depending on interest.</i></p><h2 data-block-key=\\\"3ldiv\\\">Divisions</h2><p data-block-key=\\\"2fn58\\\">In order to accomodate as many different skills levels as possible, this year, Broomball will be offered in two divisions. Division preference is inidcated in the registration form for both team registration and free agent registration. Those who consider themselves broomball masters are encouraged to register in Division 1, while noives may register in Division 2, though all are welcome to register in division 1 as well. <i>EUS Sports reserves the right to change these divisions without prior notice, depending on interest.</i></p><p data-block-key=\\\"encv1\\\">The EUS Broomball league welcomes players from all different skill levels. Players are encouraged not to feel too initmidated to participate in the league. Every year, the league welcomes dozens of new players.</p><h2 data-block-key=\\\"c75c9\\\">Playoffs</h2><p data-block-key=\\\"4kjfn\\\">Teams are granted 2 points for a win, 0 for a loss in regulation time, and 1 for an overtime loss. The top four teams of each division will be greanted a playoff spot. The team with the most points will be paired with the team ranked second, the team ranked third will be paired with the team ranked fourth, and so on. <i>Playoff format is subject to change without prior notice depending on interest. Each team is not guaranteed a playoff spot. </i></p><h2 data-block-key=\\\"dt5u6\\\">Price</h2><p data-block-key=\\\"7igqo\\\">This season, the price is set at <b>$20 a person</b>. Every player is responsible for purchasing a ticket when they are released. Filling out the registration form alone is not sufficient to play. The purchase link will be communicated via email prior to the first game. Please note that <i>tickets will be checked prior to admission onto the ice</i>.</p><p data-block-key=\\\"3unpn\\\">For teams, the team captain is responsible for ensuring that all their players have the payment link and have paid for their ticket.</p><h2 data-block-key=\\\"a2bhi\\\">Teams and Free Agents</h2><p data-block-key=\\\"vdsh\\\">Teams are registered by their team captain. This year, there is no minimum amount of players on each team. However, <b>at least five players must be present on gameday</b>. If a team presents itself with less than five players, this will be considered a forfeit and the opposing team will be granted the win. Teams may have a maximum of 12 players. While team captains may indicate a willingness to accept free agents during registration, free agents may be assigned to any team that does not have the maximum allowed number of players on their roster. For this reason, team captains should email sports@mcgilleus.ca with roster changes if necessary. In addition, EUS Sports reserves the right to merge teams should the chair deem this necessary.</p><p data-block-key=\\\"6oiq0\\\">EUS Sports strives to provide flexibility regarding game scheduling. If a team captain realizes that they will not have five players on gameday, special accomodations can be made.</p><h2 data-block-key=\\\"1h7ns\\\">Registration</h2><p data-block-key=\\\"5d1ti\\\">Team captains may register their team using the <a href=\\\"https://forms.gle/xBeb1HYmyjw2Tr9J9\\\">Team Registration Form</a>. Free agents may register using the <a href=\\\"https://forms.gle/N3rXDfhvrBEGniFn9\\\">Free Agent Registration Form</a>. EUS Sports encourages players who do not have a team to register as free agents.
