The Beer Test is a thought experiment used to determine your true feelings about a person. When you flip a coin to make a decision, there's a moment mid-air, brief but infinite, where you figure out on which side you want the coin to land. So too does the Beer Test render truth naked. The question is simple. The beer is purely hypothetical, and therefore does not contain alcohol.
It is but the simplest of thought experiments. First, envision yourself in your favourite place to partake in a beer (or other recreational drink) whether that be OAP, Blues or somewhere inferior. Next, think about how much you would enjoy consuming this beverage with the person whom you are analysing. That is all there is to it now you know your true feelings about this person.
NOTE: This is not to be mistaken with bird course assessments in which you drink beer during a test.
