Onboarding Clubs

Congratulations on being the newest and coolest EUS Club, we are happy to have you and are looking forward to working together! This document walks you through everything that you need to know in order to get up to speed with how to be a club with the EUS.

Meet your EUS Clubs Representative
- The EUS Clubs rep is your go to for all things EUS related! Some people understand clubs, but not quite as well as the club rep. So contact your rep with any questions, whether they be about how to run a club, how to function as a club, about funding, or just generally for advice :)

Money, Money, Money!
- First you must read the EUS Financial Guidebook
- If you do not already, make sure to request an Account!

Make an EUS Gmail!
- Requests can be made to the EUS IT Director. The EUS is afforded unlimited emails with the suffix @mcgilleus.ca, so you can make one for each executive! One must be created, at the minimum, for the club president and financial officer. The style is <group>.<position>, such as seam.vpexternal. Once those emails are created, notify the Clubs Rep and VP Student Life to get added to the appropriate email lists.

Update the EUS Directory
- The EUS Directory is the go-to document that EUS members use to find out how to contact different EUS groups! Once your McGilleus email is created, contact the VP Student Life in order to gain edit access to the Google Drive document.

Did you know?
- The EUS has a wiki! (lol) The wiki gets a lot of exposure, and is an important resource to keep up for the student body. In order to create a page, simply email the wiki curator with the information or request an account yourself!
