== History ==

The idea behind Brewing Club started in the Fall 2019 semester when Jacques Carmichael and Matthew Smrke collaborated on their shared interests for the brewing of fermented beverages.

The idea behind Brewing Club started in the Fall 2019 semester when Jacques Carmichael and Matthew Smrke collaborated on their shared interests for the brewing of fermented beverages. Together they worked on creating a strong constitution and relationships with external partners leading to the Brewing Club to officially obtain EUS club status on January 24th, 2020. Since then, the Brewing Club has been working to create events and projects with their first event, a DIY Ginger Beer Workshop, being a great success. Stay tuned as they continue to work on their beer brewing project and other collaborations around campus!

== Membership ==

Any McGill student is welcome to attend Brewing Club events. A $10 membership fee can be paid to become a member of Brewing Club which will provide access to the Brewing Club Slack network. Events hosted by this club will have discounted prices for members but are open to all McGill students!
