Colloquium is the annual departmental trip hosted by the [[Civil Engineering Undergraduate Society|CEUS]]. The trip lasts 4 days and consists of industry tours as well as social events. The location varies every year but is usually a Canadian city within driving distance of Montreal. Past locations have included cities as close as Ottawa to as far as Fredericton. The trip happens at the end of September.

== Industry Tours ==
Industry tours usually happen during the day. They include a wide variety of civil engineering projects. Tours have included water and wastewater treatment plants, construction sites, recycling plants, power plants, retrofitting projects and labs of local engineering schools to name a few.
== Social Events ==
Social events are planned with the civil engineering departments of the local engineering schools. In the past they've included wine and cheeses, pub crawls and tours of the city.
