Your grade point average (GPA) is a summation of your grades over a period of time (cumulative or term) on a scale of 0.00 - 4.00.

Technically the chart on the right doesn't apply to engineering. In the Faculty of Engineering, letter grades are not necessarily analogous to the percentage values listed. Professors may decide that you've performed "Very Good" and give you an A-. Conditional PassA conditional pass (D: 50-54%) is not an acceptable grade for any of your core classes. It's name is quite misleading. A conditional pass is only permitted for Complementary Studies (Group A/B) courses. In all other instances you must retake the course. |

Calculation
Your GPA is a collection of your grades, scaled according to the courses' credit-weight, and then averaged.
