The EUS VP Finance must have a good understanding of the financial structure of the EUS prior to taking on the position. There are several ways to accomplish this, besides FACC 300 of course. One of the best ways to do this is becoming the VP Finance for an EUS club, committee, department, or other group. Oftentimes these positions will have little prerequisites other than a passion and ambition for finances. It will help you gain budgeting skills and also understand the procedures and structure of the EUS. | |||
Two other underrated financial roles related to the EUS are the positions of [[Finance Director]] and the [[Funds Director]]. The Finance Director in particular is a fantastic position if you are interested in later becoming the EUS VP Finance.
