Ecosystems
The idea of creating a "bubble" of articles that feed off one another for a certain topic. If I go to that ecosystem, it should be able to link to all the relevant content (which is also interlinked), as opposed to editing articles little by little. Examples of ecosystems includes:
*Room Bookings
*Mental Health Resources
*Study survival guides
*Getting involved at McGill
Each of these has it's own relevant sphere of articles that should exist.

Content
*"<span style="color:#df6b6b">HEY YOU. Pick a day, sit down, write a shit ton of articles.</span> You have the resources from archives. We're at a measly ~300 pages, most of which are empty/incomplete, redirects, or not great. You can do this.
col-begincol-break<!--HighPriority-->
*Confirm with BoG approval to move redirects from bylaws.mcgilleus.ca to policies.mcgilleus.ca from drive folders to wiki
Sooner:
::*I've setup a warning notification whenever any file is changed in Governance folder, seeing as right here and now they're all up to date (wowowowow do MoA though)
* Bookkeeper, Isabella Bongiovi, finance@mcgilleus.ca
::*Clean up that shitty script that strips PDF text into wiki format, needs a revamp. Hey! Maybe investigate the creation of php pages and pilot an extension, make it easier and accessible to others.
* Governance Calendar
*REALLY consider the value of having the Council namespace. It's a lot of work to go through the motions every year. But it's not too bad to do it all in one shot after the year is over, plus that's probably when it will be used most.
:*(e.g. when referenda must occur, submission of this that or the other thing, deadlines, as prescribed in the Important Documents
:*Consider proposing another way to name motions at council? How do legit councils organize documents? Right now best we have, for example, is <code>New Business item X from Council on April, XX XXXX</code>, which is malleable and unreliable

:::*Say it with me, ISO-8601. A general scheme for listing dates, super important. I guess this goes more into file organization elsewhere, but if we could get EUS to support the date structure YYYY-MM-DD, it'd be way easier to sort things chronologically. Might be fun to make a page praising it
col-break<!--MedPriority-->
*Get peoples opinion on Gifs in pages like Curator's Choice and  The_EUS_Wiki:Privacy_policy. I like these because they have no background, no frame, and most importantly aren't memes. No memes, that's a line I draw pretty firmly. I know, what about Deals, Deals, Deals? I've got a sore spot for Broad City.
Later:
*Hey, launch that Facebook Page sometime soon
*Wine & Cheese HOW-TO!
*Reminder. WRITE ARTICLES. You've done too much work on infrastructure for not enough content, let's reprioritize.
* Room Bookings: photos, capacity, accessibility, etc.
*Hey, bring back work sessions?
*Popcorn Machine
*Clean up all those copyrights and privacy policies and shite.

::*There's a privacy policy on the bottom
col-break<!--LowPriority-->
::*There's a note on copyright whenever you edit a page, MediaWiki:Copyrightwarning2
Whenever:
::*Follow up question; do people ever interact with content at the footer? What would be most useful there? What would you want to be there?
*World Mining Competition
*Consider the value of having lists of previous exec teams on clubs/committees/etc. I'm not personally a fan, I think they add clutter and tend to serve vanity, but maybe that's me.
*Say it with me, ISO-8601. A general scheme for listing dates, super important. I guess this goes more into file organization elsewhere, but if we could get EUS to support the date structure YYYY-MM-DD, it'd be way easier to sort things chronologically.
:*Hey, meet with people and work with them. Also create content, less infrastructure.
*What do we do about all those default Wiki pages, Copyrights, privacy policy, etc.
*Do we actually like the background-image & box-shadow on mainpage and others therein?
*Information on McGill Special Events

New Frontiers
*Dean Nicell...?
*Skim the McGill Reddit. They've got some good content.
*Skim the McGill Reddit. They've got some good content.
*This is really annoying. Special:Random seems to have a proclivity for navigating to our Chants section, such as Froshimien Rhapsody, 12 days, and so on. There are loads of other pages, yet it goes back. out of probably 20 redirects, 3 were froshimien. Maybe I'm just in one of those weird instances where extremely uncommon chance based things occur, implying pattern. I hate this, of all pages to be consistently redirected to, this is not what I want. It also goes to Queer Engineer, VP Finance, and IT Committee a whole lot. Apparently the /includes/specials/Specialpagerandom.php generates a random integer that loops if it surpasses the total number of articles, which, while there's a comment claiming it does not effect probability, I think may...? They say they're a mathematician though...
*What do we want to do with the footer? It's underutilized.
:*Update:I may have fixed it?
*Consider proposing another way to name motions at council? How do legit councils organize documents? Right now best we have, for example, is <code>New Business item X from Council on April, XX XXXX</code>, which is unreliable
*Is Joey's Rules of Order a Policy?? Not really
*Why is SelComm Old in the Policy folder?
*wowowow just found a Kaitlyn McGoldrick Special! It's a good start outlining broadstrokes of history, EUS History
*Add facebook icons to EUS Groups Pages using Template:FacebookIcon
*Where's Ski Trip Policy?
:*Update:It's being worked on, nothing passed yet
*Meet up with incoming execs to show them the lay of the land
*Look into adding different default fonts
*Infrastructure:
:*Update wiki to the newest format
:*Create new virtual machine on AWS to migrate to
:*Install Mobile view, visual editor, (must be after MediaWiki Update)
:*Update Modules
*Holy moly update that room bookings area. I'd love for there to be unique pages for every bookable space (or in the case of trottier, different headers in the same article for the different rooms). This should be straightforward?
*Add extension/ look into addition of "last updated" super module that will display last edit date on the top right and some kind of dashboard to see most outdated pages
div col end
----
*Create Master Category That should in one way or another start categorizing everything into articles

::*Oh man I don't want to create a page for every position (e.g. chair, MAME VP Admin, etc...) but there's gotta be some middle ground.

I don't know how to give themexposure on the wiki while keeping it up to date without redirecting to their webpages? I guess it'd be like any other EUS Group, just not in EUS..... Wait, where is that line? There's gotta be one. Maybe focus on EUS first, I'm uncertain

MESC: They pay people. I mean, can you imagine? Money? I bet they could devote some of their resources to pages on what they do, what ECC is, and so on. PROCEED WITH CAUTION and try and limit their reach on the wiki. I don't mean with literal user permissions, rather verbal agreements on not polluting the wiki, you know? Students for students, they've got so many ways to reach out to students as is.

EUS Mental Health Committee: After talking to Marion about updating the MHC on the wiki, I have come to learn that Mental Wellness is getting a revamp. Once council confirms a new version, we'll get more information
NAVBARS: Create navbars for all departmental societies to interlink within each other. As well as specific navbars for each society, e.g. CodeJam, Banquet, etc for ECSESS.

This is a fun extension that needs some taming, but in short you can use it to map connections between different pages. Good for visualization for something, I'm just not sure what yet...
